No life

We watched roughly 4.5 hours of nail-biting, hold-my-breath-until-I-pass-out, extremely stressful yet additive Season 2 of Prison Break yesterday. Someone please remind me not to start watching the next season! I think I’ve just lost about 5 years of my lifespan due to stress. Even the absolutely scrumptious-drool-dripping-down-my-chin Wentworth Miller is just not worth it!

Also, why is it that these jail breakers have been on the run for 3 weeks now and their hair hasn’t grown a centimetre! I know Pépé’s hair starts going out of control after 2 weeks! And why doesn’t Lincoln Burrows ever shave? Enough with that 3-day growth already! Honestly, if you’re on the run from the law, the first thing you’d do is get a shave so that you look less like a con!

Anyway, other than that pondering the mysteries of Prison Break, I’ve got nothing really fascinating to report. Instead of going out and doing something interesting yesterday, we were holed up in our apartment glued to Prison Break. Only 1 more episode to go and we’re free! We can have our lives back again!

Anyway, till I get my life back again here are a couple of photos from last week’s Dragon Boat Festival in Frankfurt.

I've spent a lot of time on the internet watching all the episodes of Prison Break - I'm all caught up now, ready for season 3! I'm addicted to crime and prison books and shows anyway, so no surprise there! It's great fun. Unrealistic yeah, but great fun. :)

Have you guys realised YOU are the voluntary inmates by addiction?
TV channels have solved the difficult problem of over populated prisons: stuck people in front of TV sets. It's even cheaper than providing them with electronic braces hehehe.

Of course it's easy for me to say so because I seldom watch TV but this damn computer oh lord!

:D

I watched a bit of it last year... but not too into a lot of the tv shows here... I don't know why.. but I like the American Reality shows and often find myself on MTV.. though they don't have half of the shows I used to watch in Cali... Also... LOVE LOVE LOVE the 2-5 pm telefilms... that is my REAL addiction.. made for tv movies.. chick tv flicks... on M6.... and I am even sick and tired of 1,2, 3... SOOO stupid.. but LOVE then dancing!!!

Those are really some cool pics! Bravo!

Everyone's been raving about Prison Break. I must have been living on the moon, not aware of this. I simply do not have the time! I guess I must get myself addicted too.. it's a good money saving scheme. Going nowhere and getting glued to tv with hot hunks.

That is one show I have not watched yet - not one episode. :)
Someone else told me it was a stressful series. Is it anything like '24'?

I agree with you - Wentworth Miller is just yummylicious. :D
And yes.. what is it with that 3-day growth? An escaped con would try not to look like he did in prison! Ah! but that's Hollywood. :)

Hi Jennifer: We have the very
last episode to watch and then we're done with season 2! It is very very additive!

FroggyWoogie: Hehe - at least
while we're watching TV, we're not
out robbing banks ;-)

IslandGirl: Ooo, I like the reality
shows on MTV as well! I get a real
kick out of Real World and Laguna
Beach! Or The hill - I think that's the spin off!

Gina (Anigma is that you?): Thx re: the pics. Prison Break is super additive. You'd be saving money AND watching some nice
eye candy ;-)

Olivier: Merci!

Zewt: NO - don't tell me (*hands over eyes and ears*). Grrr...I hate how TV programs do that - leave the viewers hanging
at the end of a season to guarantee that they watch next season!

JT: Yep - Prison Break is a little stressful. A little like 24 - you know, you get periods where things are going well but you know it
won't last as something bad is going to happen! But it's almost worth it for the eye candy ;-)

I don't have time to watch a lot of television so I'm not familiar with the show. I don't really need any more addictions. ;)

I like those dragon heads!

IslandGirl: Thanks!

ManicBlu: Thx for dropping by! Hehe - yeah true, I don't really need any addictions either...but I'm weak! ;-)

Interesting, my old friend from high school is on the Hessen (Rhinegauner?)team that won the Weltmeisterschaft in France. Who knew? I must be living under a rock, but is this a version of rowing on a crew?
