Minority Rules

You know what’s weird about my workplace at the client’s site in Geneva? No Asians….or at least, very very VERY few. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

This is totally bizarre for me, coming from Melbourne where we have infiltrated all walks of life.

In fact, the small IT consulting company that I work for might be a representative of minority proportions in the IT consulting world here in Paris…France…and who knows where else?

Out of 16 people, we have 1 Asian, 1 person of Middle Eastern background and 1 black French male (what is the PC term for this? African-French? As in African-American?), just like in some American episode of Survivor. We’ve got our token minorities covered in this company!
